About

I design learning. AI helps me build what I imagine.

My work sits at the intersection of learning, curriculum, technology and AI.

Where the work starts

My foundation is understanding how people develop knowledge, practise new skills, receive feedback and become increasingly independent. That is the part of the job that does not change, whatever the technology is doing.

Today I combine that foundation with AI-assisted development to create digital learning experiences — from curriculum architecture and assessment to interactive websites, simulations and learning tools.

I teach Grade 2 at an independent school in Ontario, which keeps the design work honest: anything I design has to survive contact with real learners. Alongside the classroom I run my own production line of learning products — 24 interactive web products live, 1,197 distinct pages, 120 games and 686 print sheets, with 83 published releases locked read-only so a version already in a teacher’s hands cannot quietly change underneath them.

I decide what each product has to do, write the curriculum and the assessment inside it, and check the finished product against that decision before it ships. AI-assisted development is what turns those decisions into working software — it is the build capability, not the author. Every judgment about what a learner should be able to do, and about whether the product actually does it, is mine.

Areas of practice

AI Learning Design
Learning that helps people use AI well, and recognise where it should not be used at all.
Curriculum Development
Units and programmes built backward from what a learner should be able to do at the end.
Interactive Learning
Web activities, games, simulations and tools that respond to what the learner does.
Professional Learning
Practical sessions and self-paced modules for educators and workplace teams.
Assessment Design
Instruments that report something useful about a learner rather than ranking them.
AI-Assisted Product Development
Using AI to research, prototype and build faster, with the design decisions kept human.

The question I keep returning to

How can AI help us create better learning without removing the human judgment that makes learning meaningful?

Every project on this site is an attempt at part of an answer, and each case study says plainly what AI did during the build and what judgment it could not replace. The rule that keeps coming out of it is the same: put a human checkpoint exactly where the work would be easier without one, because that is where the judgment lives.

Tell me what you are trying to make possible.

Curriculum, AI learning, professional learning or a digital learning product — I would rather hear the problem than the specification.
